What is Womens Encounter?

Women’s Encounter can be described as a weekend where women encounter Christ in ways that are perhaps new or long since felt. Through teaching, testimonies and worship we’ll dive deep into what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. You’ll learn more about yourself, the body of believers around you, and most importantly, the God who created you. Get to know the sisters you have in the Lord and the community that awaits you. Whether your relationship with Christ is new or old, we firmly believe this weekend will be a blessing.

What is Pre-Encounter? (Very Important!)

At the pre-encounter session you will have an opportunity to hear teachings and testimonies that will help you be more prepared to encounter Jesus Christ during the coming weekend. The pre-encounter is vital to the process. If you are not able to attend the scheduled pre-encounter session, please call 620.663.9597 or email office@ccchutch.com to make other arrangements.

Pre-encounter session will be at 5:30 pm on Friday just prior to our departure for the Encounter destination.

When do we leave? Friday Evening

Please arrive by...
  • Check in: 4:45 - 5:30 pm.
  • 5:30 pm: pre-encounter session.
  • We pull out on Friday evening 6:30 pm from the Crossroads Christian Church parking lot.

When will we return?

We will return to Crossroads Christian Church, Hutchinson, KS on Sunday  mid-afternoon for the final portion of your encounter experience.  Upon your return, expect to remain at the church for a short while.  Specific times will be announced at Pre-Encounter Sessions.

Where are we going?

We'll be headed toward Salina, KS, just an hour away. We'll be staying at the Webster Conference Center. Need directions? We will be taking a bus from Crossroads to Salina. You are asked not to take your own vehicle.

How much does it cost and what's included?

The cost is $100.00. That includes transportation from Crossroads to the Encounter location, lodging, all materials and meals while you are away.

What should I bring?

  • Sleeping Bag (or twin size bedding)
  • Pillow(s)
  • Toiletries
  • Towel & wash cloth
  • Flashlight
  • Casual clothing & jacket (the conference rooms are kept cool!).
  • A Bible (do not pack the Bible in your suitcase. You'll need it Friday evening).
